Facial rejuvenation acupuncture is a  natural way to look younger and at Carlton Therapy Centre we have the perfect treatment for you with our cosmetic acupuncture.

Cosmetic acupuncture is a great alternative to invasive treatments such as injections, fillers and chemical treatments. This treatment can be targeted to areas you wish to improve.

SF, Nottingham, Aged 37

Cosmetic acupuncture with Roselyn is so relaxing. I was very stressed and my face was showing the signs of this, particularly around and above my eyes. I am glad I was recommended to visit Roselyn. Have noticed my periods have also improved as they were heavy before I started acupuncture. I will keep on for my monthly treatment.

  • Increased blood circulation improves oxygenation of the skin, enabling detoxification and lymph circulation.

  • This improves skin tone, colour and texture.

  • Stimulates collagen production to plump up the skin.

  • Needles used to stimulate the muscles of the face and neck.

  • Hormones play a key role in the appearance of our skin – acupuncture helps the skin by regulating and balancing hormones.

How does it work?

  • Each treatment is highly specialised and tailored to the client’s specific concerns:

  • Very fine needles stimulate acupuncture points on the face, ears and body.

  • Needles are left in place for 15 minutes then removed.

  • Afterwards the eye area may be gently treated with cupping therapy to stimulate the lymphatic system and de-puff the eye area.

What is involved?

A course of 10 treatments is recommended, twice a week for the first two weeks, once a week for the remaining six weeks and a monthly retainer treatment is advised.

What is the recommended course of treatment?

Cosmetic Acupuncture in Nottingham

NH, Carlton, age 60+

I have had facial acupuncture with Roselyn, at Carlton Therapy Centre - wonderful. Had the full ten sessions and monthly retainers. Love the improvement to my looks.

What is the best age to start?

Prevention is better than cure so start cosmetic acupuncture early (i.e. in your 30s) but clients in their 60's and 70's have been delighted with the improvement.
